(Since I am highly impressed by the play, I did it.)
Comment from Keiichiro Koyama as Kota Tsunami
Tsunami has once died in the drama, but you can understand the reason of this stage play like this: this was made by the assumption 'if', 'if Tsunami didn't die at that time and continued his job'.
So he has experienced some of his job and then got a personnel change to the 1st section, he is Tsunami who has a bit grown up from him in the drama.
He is still full of the drive, but since the the people whom he is concerned has been added such as superior officials, parents, then his best friend and girl friend, you can see Tsunami who has various emotions depends on who he is concerned, so the audience will feel it easy to invest your feelings in him.
However, to express his various emotions, I have to grow my stock of the abilities more.
Until now my works as an actor were usually in the film, so I could tell the movement of the emotion by the movement of the eyes and a slight action, the stage play doesn't show my close-up, and the technique is completely different.
They don't move exaggeratedly, but still there is a means to show the whole audience.
I experience the continuation of the discoveries, and my notion with the stage play has been destroyed every day.
Like, "I can't tell without doing such thing", and "If I will do like this, I can tell more".
This time, I have fairly lots of lines, but I am afraid of being too experienced by memorizing too much rather than not being able to memorize them.
The normal conversation consists of the responses for something spoken to by the partner.
So running to a extreme, it must be okay just to catch the atmosphere of the scene.
For, at the scene with Furuya-san(*famous actor who acts Mr. Seya, his superior official) or Otaka-san(*who acts Mr. Okuma, also his superior official), my lines come naturally although I thought I haven't memorized.
I am really guided by them.
Who is speaking with panic is both Tsunami and me myself.
My first appearance on the stage begins while those 2 actors are talking, but behind the stage set, I am excited like "it's awful! There are Ikko Furuya-san and Hiroo Otaka-san!".
As my character is tensed at that scene, it must be okay, though(LAUGH).
RESPECTIVE LOSS:TIME:LIFE
QUESTIONS!
Q1. If there is a moment which is counted as 'LOSS TIME', what is that moment?
Q2. How long will your 'LOSS TIME' will be actually? And why?
Q3. If you can choose the length of the 'LOSS TIME', how long do you want? And how will you spend the time?
ANSWERS!
A1. The time while cold water from the shower at home is turning into hot water.
A2. 60minutes.
Although I have little time to be with my parent because of my job, even if I can have a time, as I feel embarrassed, I usually can't do anything such as washing dishes, washing clothes, and the conversation. It must be such.
For example, my time just sitting on the sofa while my parent is cooking may be the waste of the time.
A3. 20
I want to have my last moment in Hawaii. I'll by the air ticket, board on the airplane, arrive at Hawaii, then while seeing the sea I will fall asleep because of the jet lag.... and at the same moment my 'LOSS TIME' will end, hopefully.

The story seems to be harder to be understood than the drama version(according to my friend who is learning Japanese).

Date: 2008-03-30 10:30 am (UTC)She once could watched a Japanese movie by herself, but this time lack of the general knowledge/terms for Japanese police office and the complicated story seem to have made it difficult to be understood.
